Atlas & the laboratory

Turn a client reference into calibrated instruments and an ongoing service business.

Earn the calibration licence

Deliver three Quarter Turn orders or one Northline proof. Fit Validation and accept Atlas. At least 20% share on a qualifying rig advances Instrument reference orders.

Your first reference grants 120 XP and covers the laboratory’s 120 CR commissioning fee. Two normal references earn the Atlas plaque. You can inspect the room requirements at the door before qualifying.

Take the calibration commission

With the lab open and a completed Atlas reference, accept the Atlas programme on the client board. A RIVA 128 or newer in Validation with at least 20% share can contribute. 24 calibration units complete it.

Completion pays 160 CR, gives a lasting 20% improvement to Atlas base yield and places a calibrated instrument on the bench. It replaces normal reference orders with the service programme and opens the second shift.

Keep a service line running

Each repeat service batch takes 12 qualifying units and pays 70 CR on completion. Atlas then spends two minutes in turnaround. During that interval, eligible Atlas work still earns base pay but cannot advance another service batch.

Keep another rig on Northline for steady cash, or deliberately switch the allocation during turnaround. The programme has no missed deadline and you are free to pause. Returning later does not automatically start production.
