A purchase is a delivery
Purchase at Management → Hardware, then visit the destination machine to install. Upgrades require a newer card than the one currently fitted. Install the preceding generation before buying the next; modern cards additionally require the server hall and the previous modern certification.
There are six delivery slots. Install a delivered card to free one. Ordinary upgrades record the replaced card in retired hardware; that is a record, not a second installable copy. The spare-NV1 archive refit is a special exception which returns the removed purchased card to deliveries.
Installing another card clears its fitted calibration. Your saved calibration presets remain and can be reused on the matching card family.

Compare net workshop output
The desk forecasts the effect on your whole setup. Check net pay, the bottleneck and power/cooling headroom before buying. A nominally stronger board can lose its advantage if it constrains every active machine.
Later certifications need partners on different clients. Keeping a specialist bench working can be more useful than installing the most expensive board everywhere.
